Delta rebranding: new website for the legal and tax firm

01. The starting point

Our relationship with Delta began more than a decade ago, at an important moment for the company.

It was a tax and accounting practice with a long track record, founded by the previous generation and gradually entering a handover to the next one.

The new leadership was clear about one thing: they wanted to stand out and build an image that better represented the kind of firm they wanted to be.

02. What had to be solved

Moving from an image tied to a traditional advisory practice to that of a more modern, specialised organisation, ready to support more complex business decisions.

We studied the market, its competitors and reference points inside and outside the sector in order to define a territory of its own.

And we built a digital presence that, at the time, clearly broke with the usual codes of its category.

That first piece of work supported Delta’s growth for years. Later on, the firm had grown its team considerably, broadened its capabilities and moved towards a new position.

The brand needed to take another step: to evolve so it better represented what the company had become.

03. How we approached it

We reviewed positioning, identity and story once again.

We simplified the brand down to Delta, removing elements that no longer added anything and building a more restrained, more forceful visual world.

And we found an idea capable of articulating the new positioning:

The Delta key.

A way of expressing how they advise: understanding, anticipating, planning and supporting decisions with perspective.

The new story focuses less on the services the firm provides and more on the value it adds before the problem arrives.

05. The result

Delta has evolved from a long-established advisory practice into a legal and tax firm with its own recognisable, contemporary positioning.

And the identity has travelled that road with it.

First by helping break with the traditional codes of its sector.

Then by simplifying and gaining maturity, to represent a much larger, more specialised organisation with a different ambition.

A brand does not have to change every few years, but it does have to know how to evolve when the company it represents does too.
