From a fast-growing intralogistics engineering firm to a brand system ready to integrate new companies.

01. The starting point
SmartLog operates in an eminently technical sector, where it is easy to end up talking about robotics, machines, specifications and technology.
But its value proposition goes much further.
Behind every installation there is analysis, consulting, solution design and support. It is not simply about selling technology, but about solving complex intralogistics problems. And anticipating what comes next.
From the start, SmartLog wanted its brand to reflect that difference too.
02. What had to be solved
The challenge was building a brand able to compete in an industrial environment without looking like one more industrial company.
We had to understand the market, study how competitors were presenting themselves and find a territory of its own combining technical capability, innovation and a different way of explaining the business.
We worked on the positioning, the messages, the claims and the company’s visual world.
The key question:
How do you build a differential brand in a sector where almost everyone talks about technology?
03. How we approached it
The brand strategy was the starting point.
We analysed competitors and positioning, defined a differential territory and built a recognisable graphic and verbal identity on top of it.
We also designed its web presence and developed the content.
There was a clear intention: combining language able to convey vision and personality with content technical enough to explain complex solutions to specialist audiences.
SmartLog kept growing and adding new companies, technologies and solutions. And the brand we had built initially began to need something more: a system able to organise that growth without losing coherence.
04. From one brand to a brand system
As SmartLog has evolved, we have developed an increasingly broad and defined architecture.
The parent company’s identity now sets the rules that make it possible to integrate new companies and solutions while keeping their personality, but making them recognisable as part of the same group.
That system reaches from corporate communication to software, machinery, graphic applications and the new brands that join.
05. What we have done
06. The result
What began as a new identity to make SmartLog stand out has become, over time, a genuine brand system.
A system defined enough to keep coherence and flexible enough to accompany the arrival of new companies, technologies and solutions.
The brand is no longer just a way of presenting itself.
It is also a tool for organising the group’s growth.
